We are asking for donations of the following for our fall Rummage Sale: gently used clothes, outerwear, linens, housewares and toys. You may drop off your items Monday-Friday 9am-1pm or you may leave them outside the door in bags or boxes. Thank you.
MPC will be collecting donations towards recovery assistance through Presbyterian Missions for people affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. These donations will be sent to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA). When you write your check to Mayfair Presbyterian Church, both the check and envelope need to be designated for Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, or for both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 20th when we will have be having our OctoberFest Night. Our event is for ages 6+ from 6-9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The event is FREE.
The next Session meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 10 at 6:00 p.m.
The Rummage Sale will take place on Friday, September 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The class meets every Thursday starting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19 Merrill Miller will be leading the class at $10 per person. All other Thursdays a free will donation is accepted. Don’t forget to bring a mat and bottled water.
Choir Rehearsals for the Senior Choir begin at 8:45 a.m. and Junior Choir practice begins at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.
TRADITIONAL SERVICE – The Traditional service starts at 10:00 a.m. Sunday School is available for children from pre-school to 8th grade during our 10:00 a.m. service. A nursery is also available. PRAISE SERVICE – The Praise service starts at 11:30 a.m.
Our next Movie Night will be on Friday, September 29 at 7:00 p.m. when we show “Rat Race.” This is a FREE event but we will have snacks available for purchase.
